Election Integrity Matters

The three unions in CUSD303 believe in transparency and integrity in the electoral process, and we want to ensure our community has accurate information.

Recently, flyers have circulated stating that “D303 Educators Endorse” certain candidates. To clarify, SCEA, SCT&M, and SCESP have not issued an “endorsement.” Our unions carefully evaluate candidates and make recommendations based on their commitment to supporting our students, educators, community, and schools through fiscal responsibility and educational excellence. Our official signs and statements read “D303 Educators Recommend”—a distinction that matters.

The political action committees for SCEA, SCT&M, and SCESP, representing licenced staff, support staff professionals, transportation, maintenance, custodial, and grounds recommend these candidates for D303 Board of Education:

While individual educators may personally support various candidates, any messaging that suggests a collective endorsement beyond our union PACs’ recommendations is misleading, deceptive campaigning. 

We encourage all voters to research candidates, ask questions, and make informed choices at the ballot box. 

SCEA, SCT&M, and SCESP stand for honesty, fairness, fiscal responsibility, and strong public schools.
